Bantayan Island is a astonishing place. I live only an hour away so I get to visit it when I have some free time and spare cash. One of the best things about the Island is that the Bantayan Island beach resorts are very minimal cost. You can get a room right on the beach for less than 1000 Philippines pesos or about $25.00 a night. Oh, it will not be up to the standards one would expect in the Western world but it will be nice enough. It will have air conditioning and a private bathroom. It will have a TV but the reception probably won’t be worth watching it. Get away from the TV and get out in the delightful waters just outside your door.
My much loved place to stay is Tristan’s beach resort. Nancy is the owner and it is difficult to say too many pleasant things about her. She will make sure you have what you need if you let her know. She’ll also leave you alone if you see to want that.
The waters of Bantayan Island kiss the steps of her resort at high tide. It is serene and peaceful there. The food is exceptional and presented in splendid fashion.
That magic of Bantayan Island hits you soon after you get out of the dock area. Once there, you’ll be enclosed in a canopy of quite green shade. The tranquility of your surroundings will grab you and lull you into a peaceful situation.
The people that live on the Island are exceptionally friendly even by Filipino standards. I’ve never seen a harsh expression, only smiles and congenial hospitality. The ladies that live on Bantayan Island are also exceptionally pretty, again, even by Filipina standards. I don’t’ know why but these women are very pretty.
If you’re living in the Philippines or coming for a visit, don’t miss Bantayan Island. It isn’t one of the top known beach resort locations within the Philippines but I think it may be the best. It is not full up of tourist most times during the year; you’ll likely have the beach mostly to yourself!
The pricing of the Bantayan Island Beach Resorts is exceptional, you will stretch your travel funds considerably if you spend some quality time on Bantayan Island.
